Programs at Mt. Hood Guardians Martial Arts Academy

At Mt. Hood Guardians Martial Arts Academy, we take pride in being more than just a martial arts school. We operate as a community co-op, fostering an environment where each student not only learns martial arts but also grows mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. We live by the philosophy, “To teach it is to learn it twice,” encouraging all students to become active participants in their learning and to help each other develop. Our classes focus on mental resilience and personal growth, in line with the teachings found in Jose Rodriguez’s book, How to Become Mentally Better at Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Combat Sports, which you can find on Amazon.
