Class Schedule

At Mt. Hood Guardians, we offer a comprehensive range of martial arts classes tailored to both children and adults, emphasizing flexibility in attendance to accommodate busy schedules. We believe in creating a positive, supportive environment where students develop not only martial arts skills but also key life lessons in discipline, coordination, and teamwork.

Children’s Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (Ages 4–13)

• Schedule: Monday through Thursday 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM

• Gi (uniform) BJJ Monday & Wednesday.

• No Gi (shirt and shorts)Tuesday Thursday

• Attendance Flexibility: We understand that attending classes five days a week may not always be possible. On average, children attend 2–3 times a week, which is ideal for maintaining progress and enjoying the experience. Our all-inclusive membership allows students to come on any day that works for them, offering maximum flexibility for busy families.

• Key Focus Areas:

• Learning to control their bodies and developing superior coordination

• Taking instruction and learning discipline from someone other than their parents

• Becoming a good teammate, working collaboratively with peers of different ages

• Note: For optimal success and enjoyment, we recommend that children attend at least twice per week.

Adult Classes (Ages 14 and Up)

• Adult Striking Classes:

• Muay Thai Kickboxing: Monday, Wednesday, Wednesday , 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM

• All Ages Boxing Class: Tuesday, Thursday, 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM

OPEN MAT SPARING must be confirmed with a coach you can attend (attendance and skill set) and that there is indeed a sparring session that Friday at 6pm.

• Focus: Our striking classes emphasize technique over brute force, with minimal sparring limited to more advanced students.

Adult Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu:

•Ages: 14 and up

• Schedule: Monday through Thursday 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM

• 6:30-7:30am Monday & Friday

• Focus: Adult Jiu-Jitsu at our academy places a strong emphasis on intellect over physical attributes. Each session is led by different coaches, providing various perspectives on the art. We approach Jiu-Jitsu as a traditional martial art, focusing on mental strategy, discipline, and personal growth.

Attendance Policy

We encourage our students to attend classes regularly, but we understand that life can get busy. If you can’t make it on time, better late than never, we’re always happy to have you, no matter what time you arrive.
