The Unconventional Pulpit

Many have told me I should have studied theology, that my path should have been behind a pulpit. But I know my calling is different. My pulpit is not in a church, but in the sweat and discipline of the mats. Here, I reach those who might never step into a sanctuary, those seeking wisdom through the trials of practice and perseverance. This is where I guide, not with sermons, but with lessons earned from life—each session, a testament to the resilience of the spirit.

The Teacher’s Calling

In Portuguese, “professor” means teacher, and that title defines more than my role in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. It embodies my purpose—to teach not just movements, but life itself. I share lessons rooted in real experiences, in mistakes that taught me resilience, and victories that taught me humility. My journey has shown me that true wisdom isn’t memorized; it’s earned, shared with those who seek not just to learn, but to grow.

Beyond the Church Walls

I understand why many resist modern religion, seeing it as commercial or distant. This is why I find my ministry not within church walls but within the dojo. Here, I teach not just defense but perseverance, humility, and self-discovery. The Lord placed me in this space to reach those searching for truth where they least expect it. My lessons are my sermons, my life my testament.
